It's amazing what taking a hiatus from a project can do to benefit it. You come back to it with a clearer picture of what you want to achieve and what you originally wanted to achieve. Only the best projects benefit from many of these, and there comes a time in your work when you realize just how close you really are to achieving what you always have wanted to achieve for that project. Our Princess Peach Toadstool is a three-dimensional computer model, made through the formation of hundreds of thousands of triangles and squares. Since the start of her creation by us in late 2012, we wanted her to resemble her appearance from Mario Party 2â¢, Mario Party 3â¢, Mario Golf 64â¢, and Mario Tennis 64â¢. We released so many different improvements and renditions of her, and have spent countless hours perfecting her like we have done to some of our more closely finished models such as Kammy Koopa. Little by little, she has started to look more and more like our goal. It is only after my work today that I can finally say... she is almost perfect. The steps left to take dwindle away, and I can't help but think what my next project will be. Will my primary focus be moved to Princess Daisy of Sarasaland? Will the goal of making her look like her N64 rendition come quicker with what I have learned and now accomplished? There are so many questions to be answered, so many more projects to complete... and I am ready to tackle them into completion!
Also, on a side note, this is the first render we have ever released to have received post production blending.
